Wetroom En-suite

The wetroom En-suite floor former is now fitted although waste not connected yet! Will do that, the basin waste and the new hole for the second toilet soil pipe all in one go when the core drilling equipment is out. Have spent three days tiling in there - just the grouting still to do which I'll get into next week once the tiles are fully cured.

Bathroom

The bathroom is now pretty much in full use. Bath & shower all working and a FLUSHING toilet which was the only real condition my lady had regards moving in. The basin is plumbed but waste not connected yet!

Floors

We now have carpet down in one bedroom and the living room. Vinyl down in the kitchen and the bathroom.

Rads

Ok here are the only two Rads in the building. The decorative rad in the kitchen as we couldn't get enough Thermaskirt in there to heat the room. And the towel rail in the bathroom.

Doors

A couple of pictures of the doors following their two coats of Natural oak varnish.

Loft Insulation

The loft is now fully insulated at ceiling level between the joists with 100mm Recticel PIR board. This gives the same 'U' values as using 270mm fibreglass but means we can still use all of the loft for storage space. Hundreds of pounds worth of insulation and about 6/7 days of my time..... But should be worth it in the long run.

Bathroom tiling

Tiling in the main bathroom.

Thermaskirt (cont)

Here's a few more piccies of the Thermaskirt. It's now all fitted and up & running. Just the bottom strips and corner covers etc to be fitted once all the floor coverings are finished.
We are getting a little noise from it at the moment during the heating/cooling cycles. The folks up at Thermaskirt HQ have made a few suggestions that may well sort it out so we'll give it a go over the next few weeks!
